Important Calendar Dates
General Dates: Franchise Funds are Assigned ($50M plus $500,000 per loss): June Returning Owners Payment Deadline: July 15th. 2nd Year Leagues: Player Contracts are Assigned: Before the Free Agency period begins: July 28th. Free Agents Signing Auction: NFL Pre-season Week 1 - 4: August 6th, 8:00AM EST to August 27th, 11:45PM EST. Rookie Draft: NFL Pre-season Week 4: starts August 27th. 8:00AM EST 1st Year Leagues: Franchise Contracts for both a Franchise Offensive and Defensive Player and one Franchise Coach are Assigned: Before NFL Week 1 Trading Deadline: NFL Week 12. Roster Freeze: No transactions are allowed during the playoffs, NFL Weeks 14 through 17. Intra-League playoffs: NFL week 14 for the teams with a bye week in their leagues, and week 17 is the final playoff between the best teams. Deadline to spend Franchise funds for player contracts: January 31st
Weekly Dates: Blind Bid Free Agent Pickups: During the regular season, (until week 14), you can submit bids for Free Agents from the kickoff of the first game. Processed Wednesday mornings at 6:00 EST. First-Come-First-Served Free Agent Pickups: During the regular season, (until week 14), every Wednesday at noon until kickoff of the first game, (usually Sunday). Roster Deadline: Must be submitted at least 5 minutes before the start of the players game.
